Margaret 'Peggy' P. Reynolds

Margaret 'Peggy' P. Reynolds, 88, of Smithfield, died Monday at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph D. Reynolds Sr. Born in Attleboro, a daughter of the late Joseph C. and Marie Theresa (Sutcliffe) McGowan, she had lived in Pawtucket most of her life. Mrs. Reynolds had been employed as a braider tender for Conrad Jarvis for 30 years. She was an avid bingo player.

Her daughter Tammy S. Mitchell of Smithfield, sons Joseph D. Reynolds Jr. of Providence, Richard C. Reynolds of FL, Alan W. Reynolds of Pawtucket and Brian S. Reynolds Sr. of FL, sisters Ruth Sellars of CA, Ida Benoit and Harriet Picard of Seekonk and Annie Guisti of Pawtucket, 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren survive her. She was the sister of the late Mabel Nagorney, Iola Biondi, Viola Souza and Beatrice Willis and Frederick McGowan.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Edward Church, Weeden St., Pawtucket. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7 pm.
