Antoinette M. Smith, 92, of Cumberland, died Wednesday at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Edward H. Smith. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Peter J. and Hilda (Ladebauche) Cardin, she had lived most of her life in Cumberland. Mrs. Smith was employed in the marking department at Ann & Hope Stores. Her sons Edward J. Smith of Cumberland, Peter N. Smith of Clinton, CT, John P. Smith of Portland, OR, and Thomas A. Smith of TN, her daughters Janet M. Taylor of Portland, OR and Paulette M. Kennett of Burrillville, her sister Anita Garon of Cumberland, 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren survive her. She was the sister of the late Norman and Ernest Cardin and Jeannette Myers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9:00 am at St. Patrick Church, Broad St., Cumberland. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
